Lem Wall
Hillbilly music star Rem Wall photo, autographed on back-Rem & Green Valley Boys. - A 1954 article mentions Rem Wall and his Green Valley Boys had been playing a "...mighty fine brand of hillbilly music" in the Michigan area. At that time, Rem and his group had a radio show that aired every Saturday night from 7:00 to 7:30pm over WKZO in Kalamazoo, Michigan. They also did a television show on Friday evenings from 6:00 to 6:30pm. His televsion show "Green Valley Jamboree" was said to have been on the air for over 34 years in the Kalamazoo area. The Georgia Crackers
This is a promo photo. Signatures are in white and appear to be made by the same person. It appears to be late 1930s or 1940s. The band disbanded in 1941 due to the war. Later they came together again. They formed in Georgia and were popular in Ohio, West Virginia and Pennsylvania. Group consisted of the Newman brothers (Slim, Hank, and Bob), Winnie Waters, and Hal (Harold) Snyder. (information from ebay auction)

Uncle Jack and Mary Lou Band
The photo measures 5" x 7". Uncle Jack and Mary Lou Nelson, Country Music performers 1930s through 1960s. Originally from Ohio, they were regular performers in Reading and Berks County, Pennsylvania for about ten years from the early 1940s until early 1950s. They were regulars at Himmelreich's Grove near Womelsdorf in western Berks County. This particular photo features Uncle Jack and Mary Lou and their band members, Tommy, Eddie, Slim Stuart, and Andy. Uncle Jack last performed in Berks County at the Reading Fair in 1971. (information from ebay auction)
